50cc Beginner

 

Skill level: new rider, entry

Age: 4 – 8 years

Displacement: 0 – 50cc 2 Stroke / 50-110cc Trail Bike

Moto format: 3 x 10min +1Lap

Alternate Classes: None

Advance to: 50cc Pro

This class is intended for brand new riders on 50cc race bikes and 50cc to 110cc trail bikes.

 

50cc Pro

 

Skill level: Rider with previous race experience

Age: 4 – 8 years

Displacement: 0 – 50cc

Moto format: 3 x 10min +1Lap

Alternate Classes: None

Advance to: 65cc Open

​This is a class for younger experienced riders. It is intended for riders on 50cc race bikes.

 

65cc Open

 

Skill level: All

Displacement: 60 – 65cc

Moto format: 2 x 10min Plus 1 Lap

Age: 7 – 11 years

Alternate Classes: 85B

Advance to: 85A & Supermini

 

85B

 

Skill level: Intermediate

Age: 7 – 16 years

Displacement: 60cc - 85cc 2 Stroke / 100cc - 150cc 4 stroke

Moto format: 2 x 12min Plus 1 Lap

Alternate Classes: Supermini and 65cc Open

Advance to: 85A, Open Jr

 

85A

 

Skill level: Advanced

Age: 7 – 16 years

Displacement: 60cc - 85cc 2 Stroke / 100cc - 150cc 4 stroke

Moto format: 2 x 12min Plus 1 Lap

Alternate Classes: Supermini

Advance to: Open Junior

Skill level: Intermediate and Advanced

Age: 9 – 16 years

Displacement: 85 – 112cc 2 Stroke / 100 – 150cc 4 Stroke (Max Wheel Size 19’ Front, 16”rear)

Moto format: 2 x 12min Plus 1 Lap

Alternate Classes: 85A

Advance to: Open Junior

 

Ladies

 

Skill level: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced

Age: 10+ years

Displacement: 85cc +

Moto format: 2 x 12min Plus 1 Lap

Advance to: None

Moto format: 3 x 10min Plus 1 Lap

This Class is intended for riders who are new to the sport. This Class is NOT for riders who have advanced through displacement classes. If coming from displacement classes, and wanting to run Beginner Class; you must receive permission from a Series Official.

 

With one race win in this class, you advance to Open Junior the next race in the series.

Skill level: Intermediate

Age: 12+ years

Displacement: 125cc+

Moto format: 2 x 12 mins Plus 1 Lap

Alternate Classes: Youth Under 30

Advance to: Pro/AM

 

Youth Under 30

 

Skill level: Intermediate and Experienced

Age: 12 – 29years

Displacement: 125cc+

Moto format: 2 x 12 mins Plus 1 Lap

Alternate Classes: Open Jr or Pro/AM

 

Pro/AM

 

Skill level: Experienced

Age: 14+years

Displacement: 125+

Moto format: 2 x 20min Plus 1 Lap

Alternate Classes: Open VET 30+, Youth Under 30

 

Open VET 30+

 

Skill level: Intermediate and Experienced riders

Age: 30+ years

Moto format: 2 x 12 Min Plus 1 Lap

Alternate Classes:  Pro/AM, Youth Under 30, Open Junior

 

Plus 40

 

Skill level: Intermediate and Experienced

Age: 40+ years

Moto format: 2 x 12min Plus 1 lap

Alternate Classes: Open VET 30+, Pro/AM, Open Junior

 

Plus 50

 

Skill level: Intermediate and Experienced

Age: 50+ years

Moto format: 2 x 10min Plus a Lap

Alternate Classes: Plus 40

Once you have advanced to a higher class you must remain in that class. You cannot return to the lower class (example: Open Junior to Pro/AM)

 

In Age Classes (Youth under 30, Plus 30, Plus 40, Plus 50) you can drop back one class (Example: Plus 40 drops to Plus 30) But you cannot go up a class.
